Introduction
English grammar सीखने की नींव है Parts of Speech। जब हम वाक्य (sentence) बनाते हैं, तो हर शब्द का एक विशेष कार्य होता है। उसी कार्य के आधार पर शब्दों को 8 मुख्य वर्गों (types) में बाँटा गया है, जिन्हें हम Parts of Speech कहते हैं।

Definition:
“Parts of Speech are categories into which words are classified according to their functions in a sentence.”
यानी वाक्य में शब्द किस तरह इस्तेमाल हो रहा है, उसके आधार पर वह noun, verb, adjective, आदि कहलाता है।

1. Noun (संज्ञा)
